Storm Cell — Weather Service Privacy Bulletin
Last updated: June 2025
Storm Cell issues one clear weather bulletin on privacy: no personal data is collected, no profile is built, no information is shared. This document is that bulletin — short, accurate, and updated when the forecast changes.
What the radar shows
The radar shows nothing personal. No chaser's identity, no storm log, no device signal appears on our screens. You track the storm anonymously.
Atmospheric readings (server logs)
Like a weather station's automatic hourly reading, our servers may log: browser type, device category, and a masked IP fragment. These readings confirm the station is online. They measure atmosphere, not individuals.
No tracking fronts
Storm Cell deploys no advertising weather fronts, no behavioural analytics pressure systems, and no third-party surveillance networks into its airspace.
The forecast supplier (Google Fonts)
Our typefaces are sourced from Google Fonts. Your browser's connection to Google may include your IP. Their bulletin covers what they do at that data point.
Young storm chasers
Storm Cell is an atmospheric but entirely safe game for all ages. No violent content, no gambling, no age restrictions. Every chaser is welcome. We collect nothing from any player.
Bulletin updates
If our practices change, this bulletin will be reissued and redated. Continued play after any reissue signals acceptance.
